Avery Jenkins is a World Champion and one of disc golf’s most enduring figures, with a career that spans more than two decades. He captured the 2009 PDGA Professional World Championship and was named PDGA Rookie of the Year in 2000, achievements that anchor a competitive résumé of more than 60 career wins and hundreds of professional events played. As of early 2026, he remains active in competition and holds a current PDGA rating in the 980s.
Beyond competition, Avery has had a profound impact on the sport’s growth and culture. He is a member of the World Disc Golf Hall of Fame class of 2025, a testament to his contributions on and off the course. His voice has shaped how fans experience disc golf through commentary and media, and his deep connection with the community reflects decades of travel and engagement at courses worldwide.
More recently, Avery has focused much of his energy on course design and development. As a sales manager and designer with DiscGolfPark, he has applied his extensive experience playing thousands of courses across the globe to create layouts that challenge and delight players of all skill levels. His designs, featured across the United States and beyond, continue to expand access to disc golf and enrich the player experience.
