Kelsie Sweeten, a disc golfer from Coldspring, Texas, embarked on her disc golf journey in 2018 and has been passionately involved in the sport ever since. Shortly after beginning, she joined the Chicks Chasing Chains ladies league in Houston, inspired by the supportive women’s scene to compete and encourage other women to participate in disc golf.
As a flight attendant, Kelsie has leveraged her profession to compete in tournaments worldwide, including in Iceland, Thailand, and Finland. In 2021, she launched her YouTube channel, “The AppetHyzer Series,” blending her passions for disc golf, travel, and food. Her channel aims to inspire others to explore new destinations and showcases her favorite disc golf products, notably GRIPeq bags.
In 2024, Kelsie joined Team GRIPeq as an ambassador, furthering her commitment to promoting disc golf. She achieved a notable third-place finish in the FA2 division at the United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships, highlighting her competitive skills.
Kelsie’s dedication to the sport is evident through her active participation in tournaments and her efforts to inspire others via her online presence. Her unique combination of professional life and disc golf passion continues to contribute positively to the disc golf community.
