Kelsie Sweeten began playing disc golf in 2018 and quickly found her place within the sport through community, creativity, and travel. Based in Texas, she was introduced to competitive play through the Chicks Chasing Chains women’s league in Houston, where the supportive women’s scene helped shape her passion for encouraging others to get involved in disc golf.
As a flight attendant, Kelsie has used her career as a unique way to connect disc golf with travel, competing and playing courses around the world, including destinations such as Iceland, Thailand, and Finland. That global perspective became the foundation for her YouTube channel, The AppetHyzer Series, where she combines disc golf, food, and travel into approachable, entertaining content.
Through her platform, Kelsie shares experiences from courses and cities alike, highlighting the lifestyle and community that surround the sport. Her content focuses on curiosity, connection, and enjoying disc golf wherever the journey leads.
As a GRIPeq Ambassador, Kelsie represents the brand through storytelling, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for bringing people together through disc golf, travel, and shared experiences.
