Kelsie Sweeten started playing disc golf in 2018 and has been hooked ever since! Only a few weeks after starting, she joined Chicks Chasing Chains ladies league in her home city of Houston, Texas. The large and supportive women’s scene inspired her to get competitive and led to the hope of inspiring other women to join ladies’ leagues and compete.

Soon after she started playing, she realized her career as a flight attendant was the perfect complement to disc golf. Thanks to the benefits of her job, she’s been able to play tournaments in iconic places like Iceland, Thailand, and Finland.

In 2021, she started a YouTube channel called The AppetHyzer Series. The vlog-style series encompasses all things disc golf, travel, and food. Her ultimate goal with her channel is to inspire others to travel more and to showcase all her favorite disc golf products…such as her GRIPeq bags, which just so happens to be the first video she ever posted to the channel!
