Sam Minges, hailing from Orangevale, California, has been an active member of the disc golf community for over 14 years. He began competing in the MPO division in 2020 and has participated in numerous tournaments, achieving a career-high rating of 997 as of November 2022.
Sam is known for his engaging and humorous disc golf content on social media, where he shares relatable experiences and insights about the sport. His passion for disc golf is also evident in his impressive collection of GRIPeq bags; at one point, he owned 18 bags, including rare items from the early 2010s. Notably, he has collected nearly a quarter of all the original Paul McBeth Flag Bags produced in 2012.
In addition to his online presence, Sam has demonstrated consistent performance in tournaments. In 2022, he participated in 12 events, securing three top-five finishes and earning a total of $2,437 in prize money.
