Steve Brinster is renowned for his significant contributions both on and off the course. Since joining the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) in 1996 and turning professional in 1997, he has amassed over 100 career wins and earnings exceeding $215,000.
A highlight of Steve’s career came in 2013 when he clinched the United States Disc Golf Championship, marking his first PDGA Major win. His 100th career PDGA win was achieved at the 2019 New Jersey Jam, underscoring his enduring excellence in the sport.
Beyond his competitive achievements, Steve is a respected disc golf course designer, having designed 17 courses throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. His expertise in course design also includes collaborations on world-class disc golf courses.
Steve’s dedication to disc golf has been recognized with his induction into the New York Disc Golf Hall of Fame in 2020.
Residing in Warwick, New York, Steve balances his professional career with family life, sharing his passion for disc golf with his wife, Lesli, and their twins, Leighton and Lydia.
